About 2026 Elections: Ukrainian American Voter Initiative

Civic information for Ukrainian American communities

Ukrainian Owned 2026 Elections: Ukrainian American Voter Initiative is an independent, nonpartisan platform that tracks how candidates for U.S. federal office respond to questions on Business, Ukraine and Ukrainian American issues. We publish what candidates say - and note when they don't respond.

Why we exist

Ukrainian Americans are one of the fastest-growing immigrant communities in the United States. Hundreds of thousands of Ukrainians who fled the 2022 russian invasion have settled across the country, joining a diaspora with deep roots in states from Pennsylvania to California.

These communities have a direct stake in U.S. foreign policy, military aid decisions, and refugee policy - yet there has been no consistent, nonpartisan resource for understanding where candidates stand on the issues that matter most to them.

Ukrainian Owned fills that gap. We ask every candidate the same questions, publish every response verbatim, and make the results freely available to voters, journalists, and community organizations.

Our standard questionnaire covers three topic areas. Every candidate receives the same questions regardless of party, state, or chamber.
